| Comments about Hotel: | Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Stayed there back in 2000 when adopting my second child, and it was even better in '06. Attractive cheerful rooms with comfortable temperature. Windows open if you need a little air. Plenty of TV stations for "down time." Attached to a nice (but expensive) department store, if you want to shop. Staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. Drinkable water spigot in bathroom sink. Highly recommend this hotel. |
| Office or Orphanage: | Hefei SWI |
| Sights to See in this city: | Local park/zoo with rides, if you have older children. Temple of Lord Bao, a medieval judge. There is a "wax museum" section in this temple. Very interesting. |
| Baby supplies can be purchased at: | Guide will take you to a grocery store not far from hotel if you wish. |
| Places to eat we liked: | The hotel restaurant on the 29th floor is outstanding. I have been to seven different hotels in China during my three adoption trips, and this restaurant definitely has the best food at the most reasonable prices. |
| Things you ought to know while staying here: | The air is very polluted, not just here but in all Chinese cities. If you have allergies or asthma, bring whatever you need to keep comfortable. |
