| Comments about Hotel: | The Lake View hotel is a lovely, modern, facility. Rooms were newly decorated, clean and comfortable. Cribs were equipped with a baby pillow and blanket. The staff were friendly and helpful. A business center is available and offers mail service or fax transmissions. In-room refrigerators, two thermoses for boiling water, radio, TV, and a clothesline in the shower were helpful. We received amenities daily - shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. |

| Sights to See in this city: | WE visited a porcelain museum and gift shop. We toured a nearby village, an art museum and an amusement park. |
| Baby supplies can be purchased at: | Our guide took us to a dept. store and there was a large children's section. Diapers, shoes, clothes, toys, strollers were reasonably priced. Our guide also located the Chinese formula our daughter preferred. |
| Places to eat we liked: | The breakfast buffet offerred AMerican and Chinese choices. Coffee, tea or juices were available. Lunch and dinner were served family style in the dining room - about 10 people around a table with 12 dishes available. Rice and soup were always offerred and a good choice for older babies. The food was excellent. High chairs were available. |
| Things you ought to know while staying here: | The Lake View is a circular hotel - which is wonderful for walking laps with fussy babies! There is a large window along one side which offers a great view of the city. just outside the hotel grounds, there is a nice, shady, quiet street which was nice for taking walks. We found the Lake View comparable to any nicer hotel found in the US. |
